Colors Within The Blue

Badges shine proudly

Upon many chests,

Reflecting the rainbow worn

By God’s best.

Hearts beat beneath

Shades of blue,

Greens and grays,

Browns and whites too.

Gold buttons shine

On coats of black,

Brown curls lie hidden

Beneath a green hat.

There are threads of many colors

Within a special hue,

Known by those who love the badge

As the color blue.
