Echoes In The Wind
The echoing wind Dances among the old pine trees, Swirling and twirling Alive with old memories.
Memories of the past Echo around, Encompassing the mind With their silent sound.
The forgotten kiss From a man with a passionate eye, Whose touch left one With a breathless sigh.
The tears and laughter From a boy too soon a man, His childhood left further behind With each passing of the clock’s ticking hand.
Echoes in the wind, Memories from yesteryear, Can cause one’s eye To weep a tear.
This day, someday, Will be just a memory too, An echo in the wind, As fleeting as the early morning dew.
