Weep Thee Not
Weep thee not Those I have left behind, For again we shall meet Just in God’s time.
Listen thee not For my footsteps in the hall, For my walk shall remain silent Though come winter, summer, spring, and fall.
Seek thee not Among many crowds my face, For I am no longer Of this earthly place,
Yearn thee not For our yesterdays, When our time seemed endless Who knew we had numbered days?
Cry thee not In the still of the night, Where your fallen tears lie hidden, In the dark moonless night.
Mourn me not O loved ones of mine, For I shall rest in peace For time beyond time.
