Will You Still Love My Face
When I finally get to heaven Will you still know my face, Though you had loved me In an earlier time and place? Though so many years have passed Since I heard you speak my name, When I finally get to heaven Will your heart still feel the same? You left too early, And I couldn’t follow you, I guess the Lord Still had work for me to do. But through the seasons, And the many years, My heart missed you, And I couldn’t stop my tears. They say you are happy, That you’re in a better place, But when I finally get to heaven, Will you still love my face?
